2 years & 11 months old...

It's been quite a while since I had a blog post...the last few months have been full of very busy times, and I never seem to have enough time in the day to write a post. But, I started this thing because I thought it would be fun for the girls to get a peak inside my head, and to see what things were like as they were growing up....so, let's get back on track and give a little update on my ladies, who are almost three!!

Lily:
Nickname is usually Sis, Sissy, Lilybug
Weighed about 24lbs at her 30 month checkup
Dark blonde (wavy in the back) hair and brown eyes
3T shirt, 12-18 months bottoms!
Very bossy, tells everyone what to do
Talks CONSTANTLY
Loves doing flips/somersaults
Likes to have her princes and princesses get married
Scared to walk on the deck (odd...)
Likes to throw ball or try to hit them with a "bat"
 
Madison:
Nickname is usually Madi, Sis, Sissy, Madi Lynn, or Mam Mam (by Lily)
Weighed about 24lbs at her 30 month checkup
Blonde hair, very curly in the back (like Shirley Temple), blue eyes
3T shirt, 12-18 months bottoms!
Very shy around new people
Loves to play/kick/throw balls
"Reads" her books all the time
Piles on the jewelry
Organizes her toys and likes to have things in order (odd, but like her parents...) 
Loves to build with Legos, and even builds castles for Lily

Both:
They both love princesses, Tinkerbell, Doc McStuffins, and Minnie Mouse
Love wearing princess dresses and tiaras (we probably have a half dozen crowns!)
They will sit and watch an entire movie, no problem (love movies like their parents)!
Being outside is a favorite, playing with their cars or lawn mowers
Sing and dance all the time
Getting nails and toenails painted is a favorite
Play nicely with other kids (which is a pleasant surprise!) :-)

My little babies are growing into little ladies! It's hard to believe they will be starting preschool soon. I love them so much, because they are literally my favorite people!
