Christmas 2011 Recap

I have to say that this Christmas was one of the best ever! Last Christmas was great, don't get me wrong, but it was really great to see the girls actually open presents (and be excited about what they got). I don't think any gift I could receive at Christmas would be better than seeing the look on my little ladies' faces when they opened their present....it was pure joy!

Our Christmas festivities began in early December with our Felt Christmas Tree...That's right, a Felt Christmas Tree. There was NO way I was going to put up a "real" tree with glass ornaments...too many bad things could happen with my two little elves running around. I found the idea on Pinterest, and made it myself. Let's just say that a lot of felt, 2 glue sticks, needle, thread, and a couple of hours later we had our tree. Next year we'll put up a "real" tree, and put this one in the girls' room.

New stockings this year!

We saw Santa twice this year...let's just say that I hope Santa doesn't scare Lily and Madison quite so much next year! We also went to Crown Center (partly to see Santa) to see the Mayor's Christmas Tree and lights. I'd never seen it before, and it will definitely become a yearly tradition!

Before I knew it, it was Christmas Eve and Christmas! Instead of using words, I think the best way to experience it is through pictures....

Madison had a fever, and the Tylenol hadn't kicked in yet! ;-)

The Ladies LOVED their presents!

Madison was worn out!

So was Lily!

I know the girls won't remember this Christmas, but hopefully they'll look back at the pictures and see that they had a great time (we all did!)!
