Easter 2012

Easter has really become a major holiday for us since the girls were born. I guess I'll take any chance I get to spoil them...and so does everyone else!

Our Easter Extravaganza started with the Easter Bunny. Needless to say, they (especially Lily) weren't thrilled to sit on a gigantic rabbit and take a picture.

It's funny to compare that picture with last year. I'll never stop being amazed by how FAST they are growing!!

Our next stop was the first of two Easter Egg hunts. Our church put on this hunt, and had over 10,000 eggs! Luckily, they broke it up by age group, so we were just with other 0-2 year olds.

Lily was ready to grab some eggs!

So was Madison (she just wouldn't look at the camera)!

Madi waved to the Easter Bunny...

and Lily gave him a kiss!

Later that day, we had our own Easter Egg hunt. We invited my parents and cousin (who has twins of her own) over, and had a blast! Our backyard was perfect for hiding 85 (yes, I said 85) eggs!

A House Full of Kids!

Twins and more Twins!

The next day was Easter! After we got home from church, I made enchilada casserole (yum!) for my brother and our family. The girls also opened up their Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny!

To end the weekend, we headed to my in-laws house. Let's just say the weekend ending with a crash...a sugar crash, that is. The girls got WAY too much candy, brownies, and sweet treats, but they LOVED every minute of it!

Overall, I'd say our Easter weekend was a success!!
